Meet Keaton.

Keaton is a 14 year old Canadian Legend Car driver with JDC Motorsports. He is the 2023 Canadian National Young Lion Champion.

Previously, Keaton was a competitive kart driver, piloting a TonyKart with Team VSR. He was the MIKA Series Club Champion for 2021 & 2022, was the Motomaster Ron Fellows Regional Karting Champion in 2021 and placed 3rd in 2022. Keaton also competed annually in the National Canadian Karting Championship sanctioned by GDS/ASN Canada FIA and was the vice-Champion in 2021.

Keaton hits the track with a passion for racing & a drive to continually improve himself to achieve his dream of being a professional NASCAR driver. Helping others is also important to Keaton. He chooses to use his racing & growing public platform to host charity events to raise awareness & funds for those in need.

Off-track, Keaton trains at HIP Motorsports in full motion simulators to develop his racecraft. He competes in iRacing Sim Tournaments alongside professional drivers at the HIP Motorsports studios.

Keaton is always looking for ways to improve & shows determination behind the wheel with excellent sportsmanship on & off track, making him a force to be reckoned with!

Fun night yesterday @hipmotorsports for league night! The track/ car combo was the next gen Nascar at Daytona and it was awesome! 🤩 I was able to land P1 & P2 in the races! This Race Week we want to highlight Daquiri! Daiquiri is currently offsite staying at Mutt Manners, (friends of Oshawa Animal Services!). Daiquiri is an example of a dog that struggles showing her beautiful self in the shelter environment, and that's ok. That's why different plans were made for Daquiri to be comfortable. This charming girl has taken part in sleepover outings and has done fantastic! She does well in her crate, with other dogs around her size and even kids! She is waiting to blossom into her amazing self in a loving home. Today was a fantastic day for our whole family at the track! My sister's were supporting me in the pits which was awesome, and they also had some big news of their own... Along with some other amazing young workers, they are now officially helping out the Ontario Legend Car Series by working at the Merch Tent! They did an amazing job today, sorting, organizing, selling and greeting customers! We are so proud of them and are thrilled that they are getting involved in the racing community! SO pumped for what we accomplished today @sunsetspeedway ! Also bummed that we couldn't complete the day as mother nature rained out our feature race. We were able to fit two heat races in and I am really proud of how hard I fought and finished both of them in 3rd place! A new personal best! An encouraging start to the season! Today I thought a lot about my first race day last year. I feel like a completely different driver now and it feels great! This year, my focus is to continue improving -even the tiniest bit- every time I get in the car. It's more clear to me now than ever that small improvements do add up. For the past few weeks I've been participating in the @hipmotorsports in-house sim racing league. The league has been focusing on stock car racing recently, which is right up my alley! The racing has been great and I've had a lot of fun hanging out and chatting with the other drivers. I've made it on the podium each week so far but last night was definitely a great night! I was able to grab pole position & finish P1 in both races! I also got to drive in the 'big' sim (the continuous rotational sim) which is always special. An awesome night! It's race week which means we are highlighting an adoptable animal from Oshawa Animal Services! This is Banana! Banana is a high energy, sweet pup. He is currently in a foster home receiving some training and is learning to walk well, settle in his crate and go with the flow of the ins and outs of living in a home. He requires structure, activity and consistency and would thrive in a home with a family committed to his needs. With our 2024 racing season kicking off this weekend, we want to share the dates & details of the Keaton Pipe Racing charity initiatives this year. We look forward to holding our 3rd Annual @laps4md Fundraiser @sauble_speedway on the long weekend in August! We will have Laps4MD decals for purchase with all funds raised going to @md_canada ! October 7-14, the week before Thanksgiving, will be our 3rd Annual Food Drive for @ftndurham ! We will be collecting donations at various locations during the week, finishing off the food drive off @ptbospdwy at the Autumn Colours Classic race weekend. New this year, we aim to help some animals in need as we partner with Oshawa Animal Services. Keep an eye out for race week posts highlighting an adoptable animal in need of a home. We hope to participate in a fundraiser later in the year as well.
